I lied.

Yes, I did indeed tell a little white lie. I think I will post one more. This one is using the Olympus DS-30 recorder, and I think it sounds pretty good! Let's see how you enjoy it! Here is a visit to Sneaky Pete's that Gerald and I took alst year. I hope you find it entertaining. The Olympus really did a decent job!

Aquarium.

Finally, to end the day, I have a 4th podcast. This one is not part of a series, but it is an excellent recording, using the Zoom h2 to its fullest. Steve Sawczyn, of Augusta, Maine, I hope you thoroughly enjoy these. Here is our visit to the Tennessee Aquarium! Enjoy!

fireworks!!!

Again, this one features the Zoom h2. We ended the day with quite a bang! Here is the final show of this three-part series.

another podcast featuring the Zoom h2 recorder.

Hello. Here is another podcast, from that same day, and it also features the Zoom h2 recorder. We were having quite a blast!!! Enjoy this one.

Aquarium podcast, Featureing the Zoom H2 Handy Recorder.

Hello, friendly podcast listeners. Toay, I am a little bit nostalgic. A good friend of mine, Mr. Steve Sawczyn, had asked to hear some shows featuring me using the Zoom h2 recorder. These next four podcasts will indeed feature that fine recorder. Sit back, relax, and travel back to the very beginning of this year, when I could still drink Dr. Pepper and eat what I wanted! Enjoy these!!! Here is the show.

Talking iPod Nano Demo.

Hello, all. I have a surprise for you! Last night, I was priveleged to obtain the new 16 GB iPod Nano. What's so special about this iPod? It talks! No lie, folks, it's awesome. Some things still do'nt speak, but hopefully, that will be rectified in the future. I did a review of the new talking iPod Nano 4th generation at Josh de Lioncourt's site, so go and check that out for yourself. After that, come back and listen to the podcast. It's really cool, and I hope it proves helpful!!! Take care, God bless, and I'll have more, soon!

Destin Part 4.

Hello, folks. This is the last one of our series concerning our summer vacation. On this final episode we are off to ride the Seablaster! This is the biggest speedboat in Destin, and it took us about three miles out into the Gulf of Mexico!!! We had a very good time, and some of the people on the boat had a better time than we did, apparently. The beer and wine were flowing, and you can tell it!!! By the way, we had none. I joke about it constantly, but I ended up drinking a bottled water!!! Good stuff! Enjoy the podcast, and I'll be back very soon with another regular episode. There were a couple more shows that I planned to do, but they did not turn out like I wanted them to do, so they will not be posted. Later!

Destin Part 3.

Welcome to the third podcast in our vacation series. This time, we go down to the beach and almost get blown away by the wind. Poor Little Zoom H2! It didn't stand up well i that strong wind, but I made the best of it. I hope you crack up at the very end. The sind screen came loose and the recorder dropped out of my shirt. It was hanging by the headphone cable, and I was very grateful to have caught it before it hit the sand. It is funny, and you will love it! Here is the podcast!!!

Destin Part 2.

We continue with our summer vacation, and this time, we go to the very famous Luck Snapper Restaurant! It was a fantastic trip, and you will be joining Abby, her family, and I, as we eat and chat for quite a long while. You also get all the ambience you have come to expect from the BlindWorld Blog and Podcast!!! Enjoy the show and come back for the next one in this series!

Destin, Part 1.

Hello, all. It is early in the morning, and I am still up podcasting. Here is the first of four podcasts from Destin, Florida. We had a wonderful time on the Gulf Coast last week, and you get to enjoy some of what we did. I hope you enjoy these vacation podcasts. See you next time!

Zoom H2 Podcast.

Hello, everyone. This is my first podcast recorded totally in Sound Studio, and it came out very cool indeed. I'm so proud of the job SOund Studio did! Wow! Well, in this episode, we discuss the Zoom H2 very briefly. Did you know that your Zoom H2 Handy Recorder came function as a wonderful USB microphone? I tell you how to get it up and running, and I hope it works for you. Let me know how you enjoyed the podcast. See you next time.

A small review of Audio Hijack Pro.

Hello, all. Glad to have another podcast up for your listening pleasure. In this episode, I demonstrate how to use Audio Hijack with multiple inputs. I show you what two different USB microphones sound like, and I also demonstrate how to use the line-in by playing with my portable XM satellite radio. While doing all of this, I go through a couple of the relevant tabs and show you how to configure your recording settings and how to create a new session and get it up and running. I had a blast, and I am sure we will do many more like this one. I hope you enjoy the show. See you next time.

Mobile Round Table

Hello, everyone. Today is a cool day for a podcast, and I am proud to give you this new show. We had so much fun doing this one, and I trust that you will enjoy it a great deal. Your feedback is welcome. By the way, if you hear my Skype talking in the background, as when somebody comes online or goes offline, think nothing of it. That is purposeful, and I really want to leave that as is. Thanks so much for listening, and we will see you on the next podcast!

Standing up for the Gospel.

It has been a very long time since my last post, and firstly, I want to wish all in the U.S. a very Happy Memorial Day.

Why do some people assume that you have to be an idiot to stand up for Jesus Christ? After all He endured for us, and after all the injustices that were done to Him, don't we at least owe Him that much? Good heavens. Are we idiots, or are we just plain stupid?

Some think that you would have to be off your rocker to be a devoted and devout Christian. It is assumed that you have absolutely no intelligence if you stand up for the Gospel. You have to be an atheist to be intelligent, apparently. At least, this is the prevailing view in the United States. I hate that! I'll stand up for Christ, no matter what the circumstances! I guess I'll be kicked out of certain communities, removed from discussions, deleted from Twitter, taken off SKype contact lists, but that's perfectly fine with me. As the Doobie Brothers said so well, "Jesus, He's my friend!!! He's just alright with me" Sorry for the rant folks, but there are plenty of intelligent people who believe firmly on the solid rock of Christ and all that He did and will do!!! There, I'm off my soap box for a while. GOod day to you all!!!

Haven't posted for some time.

Hey, bloggers. Life is good here in Vestavia Hills. I've been on Twitter, doing what we do on there, and it is so much fun. Tonight, Abby and I had date night. We went to IHOP, and we had a great breakfast in the evening. Cool. I'll do some more blogging, later. Keep your eyes on this blog, or your ears if you're blind.

Correction.

You know, I just realized something. My last message had a link that didn't work. I wanted you all to check out our church. They have a pretty cool web site, and you'll enjoy visiting it.

Saturday, very boring.

Well, good afternoon. It is me, yet again! Yes, it is very boring around this place, and I am trying to figure out what in the name of Charles Dickens am I going to get myself into around this joint. Twitter is slow, Abby's not home yet, and I'm just ... well, ... bored! That's all I can say. Tomorrow morning at church, we will take the Lord's Supper, and that will be awesome. Also, I have to read the opening Scripture, and it will be from 1 John. I also must teach the youth in Sunday School, and we will be talking about Christ as the Perfect Sacrifice. Hebrews is a hard book to teach from, but it is also very rewarding. It explains to the Jews how the New Covenant of Christ is far better than the Mosaic Covenant and all Covenants up to that point. I am enjoying Mike Gaydosh's teaching, and Dr. Steve Cowan's teaching. We really do have a great church. Good stuff. I'm gonna go for now. Baby will be home around seven or eight, and I can't wait for her to get back here. I know she's having a ton of fun, but I miss her. I've made it pretty well, though; and I've even managed to get some good sleep. I'm actually proud of myself. Later.

Early morning post.

Good morning. It is very early indeed, and I am about to take a sleeping aid and go to bed. Abby and Caty will be leaving in a few hours. I hope I can wake up enough to tell her bye, Abby, that is. I'll miss her while she's gone. She'll be back on Saturday. I guess it's so hard because, in our four years of marriage, we've maybe spent two nights apart. It's sad when she leaves, as it reminds us both of the days when she used to leave so long ago, when we were courting. Goodness. At 34, you'd think I shouldn't feel that way; too sentimental or something. Not me. Anyway, it will be fine. I'm going to play Mac, sleep, eat, and have fun. YOu never know what I'll get into. However, all my thoughts will always be on Saturday night, when I will hear that key turn in the lock. She'll be home. I will miss you, Baby, and I love you! Good night, everybody. This blogger is going to try and rest.

Let me try something.

Hey. I'm back. Sorry for the typos in the last entry. I'm getting used to this new keyboard. I want to see if I can add a hyperlink to this post. this site is where you will be able to find my podcasts, but alas, there is no web page up there. I only use it as an ftp site, so you won't actually see anything but filenames. Too bad, but that's the way it is. Ok, see you later.

Excellent day.

Well, hello. It is late in the evening, and I am just going to submit a little entry, here. Today was cool! Gerald and I did some business-related stuff, and then we had lucn at Buffalo Wild Wngs. I thought we were going to the one out in Trussville, but he surprised me and took me to our favorite one. Those wings are good. His wife, Kay, wants to come over there and have their wings some time, so we'll invite her soon, I'm sure. Not much else has been going on around here. We had prayer meeting tonight, and it was really good to see all the good folks at church. I intend to spend the rest of the night playing on the Mac. Abby leaves for Memphis on Friday morning, so it will be ery lonely around here for a day or so. 'll be glad when she gets back. I LOVE YOU, Baby Girl. I just lost the batteries in my Bluetooth keyboard, so I'm wired! It's cool, though, as I really need to use this keyboard more often. No ACB news to report accept to let you all know that the North Central Alabama chapter is not coming to the picnic. They said that Oak Mountain State Park was too far, and I understand that. We'll get together in the Fall, maybe. I'll blog again tomorrow, so check here in the afternoon, maybe! Life is good!

Skype Tutorial.

Hello, all. Dennis Bartlett did a cool podcast on Skype with the Mac. Here is the show. I hope you enjoy it.

First post.

Well, well! Here I am, finally in the wonderful world of blogging. Man, it has taken me long enough, right? Ok, enough of that. It is morning! Early morning! I am blogging myself right to bed. I have two doctor's appointments this morning, and I'm already tired. Goodness. First, I have to go to the regular doctor, one that I do not know, and get checked out for diabetes or whatever I have. Second, I have to go and get my eyes cleaned and spruced up for another year or so. Yes, I have fake eyes; they're not real. Anyone who knows me knows all about that. I'll blog again later. I just wante to see how MarsEdit works with BLogger. I'll talk to you all in the next entry.
